𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑇𝑖𝑡𝑙𝑒 : Optimizing Cardiac Vagal Functioning in Sport: Insights from the Vagal Tank Theory, Heart Rate Variability Monitoring, and Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback
𝐾𝑒𝑦𝑛𝑜𝑡𝑒 𝑂𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤: Discover how cardiac vagal activity (HRV) shapes performance and recovery. Sylvain will introduce the Vagal Tank Theory, share practical HRV monitoring and biofeedback tools, and explore strategies such as slow-paced breathing and cold-water immersion. Athletes and coaches will also get exclusive access to a 30-Day HRV Challenge to boost resilience and self-regulation.
𝑆𝑦𝑙𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤 : Senior Lecturer at the German Sport University Cologne, Sylvain has published 150+ papers, authored 4 books, and speaks five languages. His research focuses on heart rate variability, emotional intelligence, and breathing techniques in sport. Outside academia, he’s passionate about cycling, music, and science communication, often merging sport and art in live performances.
